The following are the different types of applications that exist:
Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment
Propose a change in the use of the land, which is not currently permitted by the Town’s Official Plan or Zoning By-law.
Zoning By-law Amendment
Propose a change in the use of the land, which is not currently permitted by the Town’s Zoning By-law.
Part Lot Control
Create new lots through the passing of a By-law.
Residential Demolition Application
Demolish an existing residential dwelling.
Site Plan Approval
Review detailed layout drawings to ensure that the proposed development meets standards and policies of the Town.
Plan of Subdivision
Create new lots, blocks and roads through the creation of a Registered Plan.
Plan of Condominium
Establish the boundaries for private ownership (i.e. a lot or unit) and common ownership (i.e. roads or parkettes).
